Hey guys,  that sounds like it might be Elder Schmidt's mom, but I figured it was only 12 months at this point.  As a matter of fact he and I came out at the same time, but I will take another look and make sure about that, because like you said, time goes by fast, and it can be a little tricky in finding out for sure the exact amount of time that has gone by.
so anyway, we recently had our stake conference and it turned out that it was going to be a broadcast from salt lake city and it was going to be stake conference for 88 stakes in southern california.  Elder L. Tom Perry spoke and Sister Tompson of the general relief society presidency spoke as well as on other brother of the seventy but I can't remember his name.  it was really great, also at this stake conference as we were arriving we saw something interesting, in one of the local wards one of the members owns a delorean, not all decked out like the time machine but just a casual look.  I got to see it open up when I got a chance to meet the owner as we were leaving, but I got to take one or two pictures of it too.  one is included with this email, it was a fair bit smaller than I had expected but it was in very good shape.
anyway the work out here unfortunately has not been all that well going, it has been pretty slow and a few of the people we are working with have been busy or sick, but it looks like it will be picking up again these next few weeks because the after christmas blues are wearing off of everyone.
 I think it is cool that kes is a little attached to the snow, maybe she will get into snowboarding or stuff like that, anyway gotta get going love you all, and mom you get better alright?, none of this=, kay?
