Hi guys, I am just putting this email out to you before my other email so I can make more space for replying to you in the next one, and so first things first, I have some bad news, and I am sorry that I didn't mention this before, we got a ticket for being parked in the road when the street sweepers came by(sorry..), and the total cost of the ticket is $59.00. but Elder Olson, who is in charge of the mission vehicles,is going to use the mission funds to pay the city and is having us split the cost between the two of us (meaning Elder Hart and myself) to pay the mission office back, and so he said to either have you write a check for 28.50 to the mission office or you can just put the money on my card and I can give it to him in person, one or the other would work. I am so sorry that it happened, we completely spaced what day it was - the street sweepers and everything untill after it happened and so again, I am so sorry.
What time do you guys want to do the mother's day chat? I believe that we might still be able to do a skype like last time but I am not sure yet, so please let me know before the 13th, okay? thanks for everything, love you all!!!
hey guys, sounds like things are going well, hopefully you got my other email already, and once again I would like to apologize about the whole ticket business, that was completely unexpected, and so anyway, time is short so I will do this like the last one kay? (colored text thing)

Well...it's May already! My how this year is flying past! So...how are things going??(good, and as a matter of fact to answer a question you had before about me bike, I haven't used it for the pastalmost 3 months, had a full time car here)
Anything in particular you'd like for your bday? Let us know so we can try and get it to you on time. wow...you're going to be 21! legal age...lol You will be able to legally bug your comp now, huh? lol I know...silly brain. It's still early and you know how I'm a bit spaz in the mornings.(on that matter there are only a few things I would be a wantin, first off, there is something that I had heard of and seen little bits of out here that I really would be interested in getting, have any of you heard of ambigrams? I only heard about it when one of my comps showed me an ad for a store out here where a guy makes t-shirts that have ambigrams on them, usually either names or motivational words or phrases but when then they do it it looks so cool, what ever the words are it can be just so crazy, just incase you don't know what i am talking about, an ambigram is where they printout two words in the same place in a cool style, and how they do it is just like the way the title of the Princess Bride looks, not the same text but the same concept, and so what i would like is a t-shirt with my name(full name) on the back in an ambigram and the scout pledge, I think it's the scout pledge, on the front in an ambirgam, and one other thing I found these really sweet sunglasses at a nearby gas station, I don't have the money right now(and sounds like you might not either) and little suveniers are to be bought with home funds. The reason that I want these so bad is because they are the first ones I have found that actually fit me and are ones I like too, and the great thing is they are only $20. If that is asking too much then you can ignore the getting me the shirt deal, that can probably wait till I am back home. Nothing much otherwise comes to mind that I would want this birthday, thanks for asking)
Anyway - hope things are going well and you are teaching lots. Steve and Inez are getting ready to go through the temple. That will be soooo awesome! (totaly!) I still am so thrilled when I think of my brother becoming active in the church again.
I was wondering - do you guys get questions about Mit Romney being a Mormon much?(little bits here and there Do you get more interest because he is running for president? curiosity.
Take care - keep strong - remember the Lord is watching over you and we are praying for you every day. We'll give carrie and kes kisses for you and see if we can send you some more photos next week.
Be a great example, my stripling warrior. I'm proud of you.
Love-
Mom
(thank you guys for all that you do and I am so gratfull for all of you and I hope things get better, and so to enlighten you all in regards to what has been happening with the work out here, just yesterday we were asked to give a member of the ward a blessing because he just felt downright miserable and was really concerned about it and so he asked us to give him a blessing and so we did and he called us a few hours later and informed us that his fever had broken a few minutes earlier and he was feeling much better and that he would be back on his feet today, that was just so cool!!! and in other matters our new member, the first baptism we had in this area after I came here, who has been having a real tough time the past few weeks, told us in our most recent visit with her that she and her new boyfriend (who is a member of the church and is quite active) are planning on getting married soon. the manner in which they informed us was kind of awkward - they asked if it were possible for us to perform the marriage. that was a little unexpected...(just a little bit) but we were thrilled for them cause we know that will help her with getting more integrated into the church, and with some of the issues she had before (not really necessary to get into details on that matter) and so since we can't do that (perform the ceremony) they asked us if we would at least be able to come and we told them we would love to, but that we would make sure it would be okay for us to go before we would go (nothing is written in the white handbook about that topic so you see our problem). and so that is all that has happened as of late that is really noteworthy.
anyway thanks for all your help and prayers and good luck to you all who are currently in school(high school or college), love you all!!)
ps
and one last favor before I go, dad can you send me a copy of that email that talked about the really big snake that ate two sheep and got electrocuted in it's escape? that would be great because there are some of the elders who are finding it hard to believe there would be a snake that big somewhere here in north america, thank you.
