hey guys, hope you are having a good week so far, since you did a long one I will be more direct responces, much simpler,(this is the response color today)

So...hopefully you are excited for your new area!  New investigators, new streets to learn, new comp and a whole bunch of new ward members to work with.  ;)(you can smile about it all you want, personally I had finally kind of gotten my area figured out when president cook gave me da boot!! and I kind of left a few projects[not investigators] incomplete, but thankfully I think I can count on those who were helping to finish the jobs, so nothing to worry about)
This past weekend was crazy for us. (when is it not?) It was Regional Conference, and it was cool, we had President Uchtdorf and Elder Holland speak.  Kristie and Clarissa got to go to the conference center for the conference, we watched it in our stake center.  It was sooo good.  The adult meeting the night before we only made for Pres Beards talk...sigh.  It was such a busy day!!  We had the Best Buddy walk again (I don't remember if we told you about it last year - but Randy is participating in a program called Best Buddies, and it's a program that lines up friends for students with special needs and or physical disabilities.  Last year we did the walk and it was really fun, so we signed up as volunteers again this year.)  They hold it at This is The Place Park, and that's really fun because I hadn't seen it before last year.  We walked around everything last year.  This year we were kind of in a hurry so we had lunch, hung around for some dancing and then left.  Randy won the dancing contest!  It cracked me up.  His best buddy, Kyron, was showing me how Randy dances at the dances they go to at the schools.  Basically he kind of lopes around the crowd and sort of jogs in place.  Oh boy.  Have I been lax on my dancing instruction!!  Donald at least doesn't gallop around the room, but he's not much better.  sigh.  Anyway - it was hilarious.  And Layton High won an award for being the best High school chapter in Utah, but Randy and Kyron were the only ones from Layton there!!  I told Kyron he could tease everyone about that.(me thinks the way randy dances is not nessessarily your fault, he tends to think his own way and that also relates, I think to his amagination time [ I think you know what I am talking about, right?]sounds like the conference was good, funny thing about my new area just this last sunday after I got here they called a new bishopric, and so that is going to make things even more interesting)
How are you??  I will be getting your birthday box out something in the next day or so, so hopefully you'll get it in time for your bday.  
One thing I wanted to share from President Uchtdorf...he said there were 3 things we should concentrate on to bring us closer to the Lord and strengthen our testimonies.
1 - was to have a current temple recommend.  He said he thought CTR should (for adults) stand for current temple recommend!  I liked that...
2 - was to study the scriptures consistently every day.  And really study them, not just read to check off a list.
3. - was to communicate with our Father - in - Heaven.  He specifically didn't word it as pray, but communicate.
It was really good.  Elder Holland was almost beside himself in his anxiety to stress the importance of working with those who have become less active in the church.  He said there are no inactive or less active members, only those who do not fully understand the gospel.  I liked that thought too.(interesting point, I might bring that up with some of our leaders and with my comp, it might give us some ideas.)
(well thnks again for everything and one other thing I discovered, I need a change of work clothes to go into my 72 hour kit, I have a change of proslitezing clothes but not of work or regular clothes, come to think of it I just need another pair of jeans for that and also, can you look up where you can get MRE's those fit well in tight spaces and would be very usefull for me kit, thanks and I will get those letters that I promised written and sent today[funny thing actually, my comapion has a typewritter that he got for reall cheap and it works perfectly{kind of electric and not to old}and so my letters won't be quite so messy, yeaaa!!!, anyway gotta go, love you alll!!!!!!!!!!!!!
