Dec 27

Dec 27
Hey Guys, just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the chat on Sunday, you guys were great. now I just have a few things I want to say to you guys, kind of one by one, so first off,
Mom: it was good to hear from you, thanks for your advice and your love I really appreciate the packages you sent me, on that note: I was informed later that day (after our little chat) that the big package you had mentioned had arrived at the mission office after the Christmas party via FedEx (apparently very late, much later than had been the expected arrival date) and that they were going to try and get it to me as soon as they could, within the next day or so if possible.  later in the evening the assistants (to the president) arrived at our apartment and dropped it off so I still got to open it on Christmas day! nothing yet in relation to that card you said you sent unless you were referring to the card in the box (which I do not think it is) but I will see if the missionaries at the mission office know anything about it, because this wouldn't be the first time that someone has confused my name with another elder in the mission, so my biggest concern is that they thought it was addressed to some other elder (by the way, there are no other Elder Parker's in this mission but there is a Elder Packer and so you see our problem).
 and so with that said, on to better things, thanks for the shirts they are very much appreciated and I am grateful for them, I love the stephens hot cocoa, yes I love orange creme but mint truffle is very good and among my favorites too, I am not much for dark chocolate but there is nothing revolting or disgusting about it, and it has it's own unique taste as well, of course it is supposed to be slightly healthier than milk chocolate, right?
oh well, hopefully when you get my videos you might get my joke that I make on that topic, the candies were great, its going to take me quite a while to get through them all, another little note on the subject of food, I do not know if I asked you this already and I forgot to ask while I was talking to you guys on skype, but can I get the original basic recipe that you used to use (before you started cutting as many fats and sugars out of your dishes as part of your diet) for syrup? please? it seems that after a while just having cereal, toast, eggs and/or sandwiches for breakfast gets kind of old real quickly and pancakes are a nice breakfast treat once in a while.  not like I would be asking you for the recipe for like,oh, breakfast cake or something like that, sorry to drop off so abruptly but the computers only have so much time, love you all

LATER;-}
Elder Edward C.D.Parker
